Chicago abstract expressionist painter Katie Meuser fills the gallery with large-scale work built in layers of acrylic, pigment, ink and spray paint. Meuser uses water to bend recognizable images — flowers, figures, horizons — until they read as a feeling rather than a picture. The show is open to the public in our downtown Lake Forest gallery and every piece is available; ask about any work that speaks to you.
